Chapter 1, Part 3 "A dog's life"

 Vivian is truly a dog-person, and she loves Pepper and Gertrud more than anything else in the whole world. But she's a sim, and sims have a limit for what they can take, and when Pepper brings in water every single day Vivian becomes pretty upset. If only Pepper could learn to shake herself before entering the house...

 "Hi, this is Vivian calling." said Vivian with a shaking voice. Was she really going to do this? Was she really going to adopt yet another dog? She already have to handfulls, a third dog would be a true mess. "Hello, what can I help you with?" the voice on the other side of the line replied. "I want to a adopt a ... dog." Vivian said, still a bit shaky. "Oh, that's wonderful. Are you looking for anything special?" the person at the other end of the line said. Vivian hadn't thought about what she was looking for and became to stone when she realized she hadn't prepared for a third dog at all.

"I was thinking, maybe a boy..." Vivian said. "I have two girls already, a big boy would be nice". The person at the other end of the line didn't reply. Vivian didn't know what to say either, and for a couple of seconds which felt like forever they both where quiet. Suddenly the person said: "We have an old, black mix. He's in a need of a home, or else we'll have to... you know." Vivian's heart froze to ice and broke a little. She knew she had to save this dog's life. "I'll take him!"

 A couple of hours later the person from the phone came by with the new boy. "Hello there, you're Vivian?" the person said. Vivian nodded her head a bit confused. "I'm here with your new familymember." the person said a bit irritated. Vivian just smiled big! "Well, you want him or not?" the person said angry. "YES! Of course I want him!" Vivian shouted. "His name is Sake, he's your problem now." the person said and quickly drove off.

 But old Sake wasn't a problem at all, he was a kind, loving little guy! And also so easy to teach tricks. It was clear that he hadn't had any loving home before in his long life, but in a way that made Vivian more comfortable because she knew she could give him the love he deserved!

 And the spark between them were there from the beginning! They were in love. They were best friends.

 But of course, Vivian hadn't forgotten about Gertrud and Pepper. So Viv decided that Gertrud needed a bath, considering she's a lazy dog she only lays in the sun, sweating... And after that; some cuddling.

Look at that expression, priceless! 

Chapter 1, Part 2 "Some new friends"

 Vivian hasn't lived in Appaloosa Plains for too long and she doesn't really feel at home yet in this new town so she decided to take her daughters for a trip to the dog park. Some dogs hate riding in cars, and Pepper is like that, mostly because she always has to sit in the back because Gertrud always get's the frontseat. No wonder Gertrud finds riding in cars fun!

 When finally arriving the park after a couple of minutes drive Vivian didn't hesitate making contact with the first person she could lay her eyes on, and that person was the pregnant woman, Imogen.

"Uhm, hey, hi, excuse me." said Vivian shy. The woman named Imogen turned around and looked at Vivian with kind eyes. "Hello there.." she said kindly. "My name is Vivian... I just moved to Appaloosa Plains, with my two dogs." Vivian said quickly, "Oh, that's nice, I'm Imogen, and I have a dog as well, a pink poodle." the woman replied laughing shortly.

 After a moment of awkward silence the woman suddenly said: "Oh, ah, baby's kicking." Vivian smiled brightly and asked polite if she maybe could feel the baby kick. "I've never experienced such a thing before." said Vivian happy. The woman, Imogen smiled and nodded. After the baby stopped kicking the woman smiled and said: "We don't know the gender yet, we decided it should be a surprise, the grandparents are very excited, but also a bit frustrated that they don't know what sort of stuff to get the baby since they don't know whether it's a boy or a girl." Vivian didn't really know what to reply so she just stood there, staring at the woman's belly.

 "Do you have any kids?" the woman asked quickly when she realized she made Vivian uncomfortable. "No, no, uhm, I don't have any children, yet." Vivian replied quickly while thinking that the time couldn't go any slower. "Hey, you know what, here's my number, give me yours and we'll have a chat sometime." Imogen said with a big, gentle smile on her face.

After yet another awkward moment the woman suddenly said: "Hey, my husband is here somewhere, you should say hi to him, I'm sure you'll like him, he's such a nice man..". Vivian just nodded, smiled and walked away.

 "Hi there." a man's voice yelled. Vivian quickly turned around with a shocked expression on her face. The man came walking towards her, all dressed in dark clothing. Vivian found him a little intimidating, but since it was daylight she felt a little bit safer. "Hi, I'm Mr.Fox, Imogen's hubby." the man said and laughed. "...Hi, I'm Vivian." said Vivian with a fake smile on her face. What a weird person, she thought to herself. After having yet an awkward chat with an awkward, but nice person Vivian decided that it was time to relax, and what better way to relax is there than...

 Ice cream? "20 simoleons for an ice cream? Are you kidding me?" Vivian asked the ice cream-man. "I'll give you a discount if you become happy again young lady." joked the ice cream-man. Vivian smiled a fake smile and handed the man 20 simoleons.

Chapter 1, Part 1 "The Introduction"

 This lady's name is Vivian Lucky, and she's a quite lucky gal. Her life has been interesting her whole life. She grew up in Sunset Valley with loving parents and cats. She never really cared for animals until she discovered dogs. Her parents didn't really approve of the new lifestyle with dogs Vivian wanted so she decided to leave the nest and move to Appaloosa Plains where she could get herself some puppies. 
 This little lady's name is Pepper. She's one little bundle of joy and of course energy. She loves to run around and also; she loves to swim. Good thing Vivian owns a pool. She's a girly-girl and loves attention and pink stuff. She's not afraid of other dogs and loves to socialize.

 Vivian is a writer, and author perhaps? She loves to write and spends most of her days behind the computer screen where she writes about everything and anything. So far her books hasn't sold too good, but it's getting there, at least that what she says!

 And then there's this lovely lady. This is Gertrud and she is Vivian's first companion. She's a real lazy but lovable bulldog. She is kind and welcoming and loves a good treat. What more is there to say about this woman? Well, she's just lovely.

 Hygiene is a big part of Vivian's everyday routine. She has to brush her teeth and has to shower every day. You would think it's exhausting, but no, not for Viv, she just loves feeling clean!
